Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview This role is for a Registered Nurse working in a Medical Surgical unit, providing care in a 32-bed medical/surgical environment focused on innovative nursing practices and new technologies. The nurse will work in an engaging and dynamic setting, playing a vital role in patient care and support.

Shift Details Shift Type: Day Shift (3x12-Hour) from 07:00 - 19:00 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Rotation: Must work one holiday during the rotation Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and maintain safety and comfort for patients in the medical/surgical unit. Participate in self-scheduling within assigned groups, rotated weekly. Float to other areas as needed to meet staffing requirements. Engage with and adopt new technologies and equipment to enhance patient care. Support nursing practice innovations and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience in a medical/surgical setting. BLS certification is required. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Local candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility. This position does not accept pending licenses. Important Notes On the first day, the RN will take a drug screening at Employee Health and then leave.

The first shift will commence on Tuesday.

Ratios: 1 nurse to 6 patients. Must be flexible to accommodate scheduling changes and staffing needs. Requests for time off (RTO) must be included in submission covers and confirmation documents.
