Details Hospital setting caring for inpatient Med/Surg/Tele admissions 12-hour night shift schedule Every other weekend required Holiday coverage required as needed Floating required, with priority to float to other Med/Surg/Tele units No on-call requirements Requirements Active IL RN license required; temporary licenses accepted if proof of permanent application submission is provided Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required 2 years of Med/Surg/Tele/Neuro experience required New graduates will not be considered Must pass an EKG test with a score of 80% or higher prior to consideration, plus an onsite pass/fail EKG test on Day 1 Epic EMR experience required 2 current professional references from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge in the relevant area within the last year required Additional Information Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg/Tele inpatients Local candidates accepted at the same rate Returning permanent or per diem staff must have been away for 12 months to be considered as a traveler RTO limited based on contract length: up to 3 days for 8-week contracts and up to 7 days for 13-week contracts A brief facility interview of approximately 10-15 minutes is required prior to starting American Traveler Job ID P-769552.
