Details LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) model unit Baby Friendly designated unit with a Level I newborn nursery and no NICU on site Night shift, 1900-0730, rotating 36 or 48 hours per week No on-call requirements Circulates for C-Sections and provides care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods Uses Epic, GE Centricity, and Keriton charting systems Requirements Active CA RN license required Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Associate Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's Degree preferred Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course) required Epic EMR experience required OR scrubbing experience welcomed and preferred Strong maternal and neonatal stabilization skills required Additional Information Plans and delivers nursing care for patients and families through antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum periods, including emergencies Manages perinatal emergencies such as crash C-sections, precipitous delivery, and shoulder dystocia Assesses fetal and maternal well-being, amniotic fluid status, and vaginal bleeding Assists with epidural catheter placement and monitors maternal and fetal status during and after administration Supervises and delegates care to ancillary personnel as appropriate Educates patients and families throughout the perinatal and postpartum period Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions Candidates with more than 5 days of requested RTO will not be considered Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-780496.
