Details Medical Surgical Combination unit in a 205 licensed-bed hospital 48-bed unit with 1:6 patient ratio and high patient turnover Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Rare floating possible to inpatient rehab or ER for task-based assignments Uses Paragon EHR Requirements Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg experience required At least 1 completed travel assignment required Must be able to start IVs, insert foley catheters, and insert NG tubes Experience performing EKGs and managing heparin drips required Experience with 1:6 patient ratios and high patient turnover preferred Additional Information Work in a Duke LifePoint, Joint Commission accredited hospital with an 'A' LeapFrog Hospital Safety Rating Facility features the region's largest and most comprehensive ED plus a free-standing ED Facility houses the region's largest and most advanced ICU and PCU Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment American Traveler Job ID P-776527.
