Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Location Granbury, TX | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13 Weeks | Must work all holidays Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio across a 36-bed unit Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients throughout the shift Document patient information accurately using the MEDHOST EMR system Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes Adhere to unit-specific protocols; no call, no floating, and no 48-hour shifts required Required Qualifications Active RN License (must be valid for the state of Texas) BLS Certification (AHA or ARC) ACLS Certification (AHA or ARC) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience Medical Surgical experience required Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred Familiarity with MEDHOST or similar EMR platforms Why Join Us Stable 13-week contract with an expected schedule of 36 hours per week on a consistent day shift with no call or floating requirements Opportunity to gain valuable travel nursing experience in a supportive Medical Surgical environment Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 797528.
