Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Orthopedic Floor Corpus Christi, Texas. The position provides nursing care to patients on a 25-bed neuro and orthopedic unit during night shifts. The role supports general medical-surgical competencies and orthopedic care in a collaborative clinical environment.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

Preferred Qualifications: Telemetry experience and experience managing chest tubes, non-titrated Cardizem and amiodarone infusions, and weight-based heparin infusions.

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Additional Information: The unit generally maintains a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1. Clinical responsibilities may include managing Baxter intravenous pumps, KCI wound vacuums, sequential compression device pumps, chest tubes, and cardiac and anticoagulation infusions. Royal blue scrubs are required.
