Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro Med/Surg Location: Birmingham, AL Shift: 3x12 Nights Contract Length: 13 Weeks Pay Range: $1585.64 - $1865.46 Per Week Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Neuro Med/Surg Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will provide care for specialized neurology and epileptic monitoring med/surg patients within a Level 1 Trauma academic medical center. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality direct nursing care to neuro and epileptic monitoring med/surg patients. Monitor neurological status, perform frequent assessments, and manage specialized care plans. Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed. Coordinate interdisciplinary care with physicians, specialists, and support staff. Assess, document, and respond promptly to clinical changes in patient condition.

Qualifications & Requirements Active RN License (Alabama or eNLC Compact License in hand).

Certifications: Current BLS and NIHSS required.

Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Neuro nursing experience preferred.

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts.
