Join Our Dynamic BMT/Oncology Team Job Description: - Join a specialized team dedicated to caring for patients with blood cancers. - Work in a state-of-the-art 51-bed unit providing treatments for chemotherapy, biotherapies, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapies. Position Details: - Unit: BMT Unit (10000210) - Shifts Available: - Nights: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) - Days: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) - Required Experience: - Minimum 2 years of acute care BMT/Hematology experience - Chemotherapy administration experience - Open to candidates with 1.5 years of experience - First-Timers Accepted: Yes, with the required experience - Weekend Requirement: Yes, based on unit needs - Certifications Required: - AHA BLS - CO or Compact RN License - ONC certification - Floating Requirement: - May float within scope to meet facility needs between BMT/Oncology and CTU units - Potential to float to sister facilities based on needs Work Environment: - Nurse-to-patient ratios typically 3-4:1, but may flex based on staffing needs. - Candidates must be comfortable in environments with flexible staffing ratios. - Utilize Epic for charting. - Scrub color: Navy.
