This role involves providing patient care across adult and geriatric populations in a Medical/Surgical unit. Job Details Location: Athens, TN Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor Shift Time: Nights Shift Hours: 12 hours Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours Required Certifications: BLS; RN licensure in Tennessee required prior to start date.

Years of Experience: 1 (preferred but not required)

Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Certifications/Licensing: Valid RN license for Tennessee, BLS required prior to start.

Patient Population: Adults and Geriatric; no pediatric patients.

Unit Details: Medical/Surgical unit with a max patient load of 24, patient ratios of 6:1, equipped with bladder scanners, glucometers, etc.

Additional Information: Must have required certifications prior to starting. All clinical staff must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry before beginning work. The unit emphasizes teamwork and a family-like environment. Unit handles diagnoses such as pneumonia, CVA, CP, post-surgical care, electrolyte imbalances, DVT, among others. Dress code is scrubs of any color; casual wear is not acceptable. No float rotation is required. The assignment is from 11/02/2026 to 02/01/2027.
