The ideal candidate will have robust clinical skills, the ability to work effectively in a team, and a commitment to delivering compassionate care to a diverse patient population.

Job Details Ratios: 1:3-5 Patient Visits: Approximately 250 visits per day Beds: 101 beds Contract Length: Minimum of 13 weeks Hours: 36-48 hours weekly Shift: 12-Hour Nights (18:45 - 07:15)

Float Requirement: Mandatory floating between Emergency Observation Unit and Emergency Behavioral Health based on needs Weekend Requirement: Minimum of 4 weekend days per 6-week timeframe, may include every other weekend Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including triage and telemetry monitoring. Perform IV starts and manage emergency medical situations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team during daily shift huddles to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Complete necessary documentation using electronic health record systems (EPIC).

Required Skills and Certifications Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting; first-time travelers are accepted.

Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS, MOAB.

Skills: Proficiency in IV start, triage, and telemetry.

Orientation and Attire Orientation: 24 hours prior to start date Uniform: Navy and white scrubs Additional Notes Applicants must pass EKG testing prior to starting in this specialty.
