Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Description 2 East is a 49-bed general medical/surgical telemetry unit that provides care to adult and geriatric patients. The staff caters to a diverse range of acute conditions and patients with multiple comorbidities. Job Requirements Current Massachusetts RN License (must have at the time of submission) Medical-Surgical experience preferred Current Telemetry experience required Current AHABLS Certification ACLS certification required Effective time management skills Strong communication abilities Experience with EPIC EMR Additional Information This position involves a 12-hour night shift (7 PM - 7:30 AM). Candidates must schedule a one-time proctor session via Zoom for PASS/FAIL testing within 48 hours of a tentative offer, which includes ECG/Tele Test and Medication Test. Orientation is biweekly, and interviews will be conducted by the Nurse Manager. Note No local travelers will be accepted (must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility). Travelers who have previously worked in any capacity within the last six months will not be considered and must be separated from the facility for this duration.
