Details Work in a 16-bed Cardiac ICU (CVCU) caring for pre/post open-heart surgery patients under a universal bed concept, remaining in the same private room from surgery through discharge Also cares for general ICU, complex cardiology, IABP/Impella, and post-cardiac arrest cooling patients 1st shift schedule, 6:30a-7p, every other weekend 36 hours per week, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (IN or compact) Current BLS and ACLS certification required ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred No prior nursing experience required, though preferred Additional Information Clinical educator provides customized orientation for new staff Perform comprehensive patient assessments, implement care plans, and coordinate discharge planning Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and delegate tasks appropriately Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-746220.
