Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/16/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit (PCU). This role supports a float pool serving progressive care and intermediate care units with cardiac patient populations.

Responsibilities include caring for patients with acute cardiac conditions, managing cardiac infusions, and supporting telemetry patients across varying acuity levels.

Job Details Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar-sized healthcare facility.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Float assignments may include progressive care and intermediate care units with cardiac patient populations. Typical patient ratios are 1:34. Patient populations may include ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI), cardiac surgery, and chest pain cases. Clinical responsibilities may include management of Milrinone, Dobutamine, and vasopressor infusions. Telemetry beds with lower acuity levels may also be assigned.
