Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) | Travel | IL Assignment Overview Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for the Adult Medical Specialty Unit in an acute care setting. Ideal candidates will have experience with central lines, tracheostomies, and chest tubes. EPIC experience and travel experience on a MedSurg floor is preferred.

Assignment Details Shift: 12-hour Nights, 3x12 schedule Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Sat/Sun for days & Fri/Sat for nights)

Floating Requirements: Rotation to any other acute care general med area (nephrology, neuro, ortho, oncology) Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2565 (negotiable)

Charting System: EPIC Responsibilities Provide care for acute care gen-med patients including those with cellulitis, sepsis, dehydration, and more Work with PCTs to assist with vital signs, accucheks, bladder scans, and ADLs Administer and manage Bipap/Cpap for sleep apnea Monitor telemetry remotely and manage RT equipment Qualifications Required: Active IL RN license or confirmation that application process has been initiated BLS Certification (AHA)
