Details Acute care teaching hospital with Level 3 trauma designation Float position between Telemetry and Med/Surg units 1:5 patient ratio 12-hour shifts on a day/night rotation (7:00-19:30 or 19:00-7:30) Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to affiliate hospitals nearby Uses Epic (Excellian) EMR Requirements Active or pending MN RN license accepted Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Epic/Excellian charting experience required Minimum 1 supervisor reference required for consideration Additional Information Provide telemetry and med/surg level nursing care with floating as needed Navy blue scrub color required First-time travelers are accepted for this role Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered, with no local candidates accepted Returning staff must have at least a 3-month gap since their last shift worked as permanent staff or per diem RTO requests ideally limited to no more than 5 days Facility does not provide references to travelers post-assignment or to former perm employees American Traveler Job ID P-777325.
