Shifts per Week: 3 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Call: No call requirement Work Setting: On-site acute-care hospital environment Med/Surg Travel RN Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Ohio At least 3 years of current or recent medical-surgical, telemetry, and/or stepdown nursing experience Demonstrated ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and pass a telemetry competency evaluation Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Current proficiency with the Epic electronic medical record system Ability to float between medical-surgical units and adapt quickly to changing patient-care needs Medical-Surgical Nursing Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult medical-surgical and cardiac patients during overnight shifts Monitor patients, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly to clinical concerns Interpret telemetry rhythms and communicate significant findings to appropriate care team members Administer medications and treatments, complete nursing assessments, and document care accurately in Epic Support patients with a variety of needs, including wound care, stroke care, oncology, respiratory, observation, and emergency department overflow Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care Promote patient education, safety, comfort, and continuity of care throughout the travel assignment Apply now for this Med/Surg travel RN opportunity in Zanesville, Ohio, and join a collaborative acute-care healthcare team.
