Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital as an ER Registered Nurse in Potsdam, NY. This contract position in the Emergency Department (ER) offers a unique opportunity for skilled RNs to make a difference in the lives of patients in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills / Certifications / Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required Experience in a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center First-time travelers accepted; locals not accepted (must be >50 miles away)

Skills include: General Emergency Department (Combined Adult/Pedi) Non-Trauma Emergency Department Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure Blood product administration Central line care/management Phlebotomy and starting IVs Continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors CVA, Neuro-Trauma, Spinal cord injury Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho-Trauma Abdominal pain, Asthma, Burns, Epiglottitis Head injury, Hyperglycemia, Identifying and reporting abuse Infections, Mental/behavioral health conditions Respiratory infections, Seizures, Urinary tract infections Ventilated patients, Gunshot wounds, Traumatic amputation Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience: CPI, TCAR Job Details: Shift: Nights, 36 or 48 hours per week Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (2 weekends of a 4-week posted schedule)
