Details Hospital-based Physical Therapy department on the 1st floor of the main hospital building 281-bed facility with a department staff of 11 PTs, 2 PTAs, and 2 PRN office coordinators All staff work day shift only Patient ratio of 8-10 patients per 8-hour shift, with assignments of 10-13 patients Equipment used includes walkers, crutches, braces, and wheelchairs Documentation completed in Meditech Shift runs from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Call requirement: must call in by 7:00 AM to designated number Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Physical Therapy experience required BLS certification required Florida PT license required if applicable Must be able to quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment and learn Meditech charting system Additional Information Main duties include evaluations, treatment, gait training, therapeutic exercises, and therapeutic activities Department described as cohesive, highly engaged, and positive with a hardworking team Gray scrubs required Previous travel experience preferred 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-778598.
