Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: Ortho has 30 beds, Med Surg has 37 Patient Ratios: Usually 6:1 Unit Staffing Description: We utilize PCTs and SNEs in our tech role, and we have a US during the day shift hours.

Documentation System: Meditech Scheduling Requirements: Schedules are in a month increment (4 weeks), full-time must work 4 weekend shifts (e.g., 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday).

Floating Policy: We float to inpatient units to take patients, float with tasks in CCU and ED.

Patient Experience Requirements: All levels welcome to apply.

Hiring Profile Requested Skill Set: Must have: Positive attitude, willingness to work hard, manage a patient load, utilize teamwork strategies, and provide patient-centered care.

Advanced Skills Needed: Procedures performed on unit; some MDs will do bedside procedures, though not as common as in CCU/ED.

Certifications Required: BLS Dress Code: Required uniform includes scrub top, scrub bottoms; no fleece, hoodies, sweatshirts, or denim. Long sleeve shirts under scrub tops or scrub jackets are permitted.
