Start Date: 11/09/2026 Duration: 52 weeks This is a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position. The role involves floating to various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, pediatric Med-Surg, pediatric PACU, pediatric ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby. Candidates must have experience in PICU and NICU and be comfortable with pediatric care. Previous NICU/PICU float pool experience is considered a plus. Clinical review and auto offer process will be followed. The position requires night shifts of 36 or 48 hours per week, with block scheduling not being accommodated or guaranteed. The contract duration is 52 weeks, with the expectation to work every other weekend and every other holiday, including 2 out of the 3 winter holidays. Time off requests for up to 40 hours can be approved; however, no requests for time off can be approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment. Required certifications include BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS. Pediatric PACU experience is highly preferred. A minimum of 2 years of PICU experience is required. Additionally, the Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification is required but can be submitted as pending, with a cost of $200. Candidates must adhere to the facility's float policy and can submit with a pending Virginia license. Epic experience is also required. GLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
