Details Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a community hospital Day shift schedule alternating between 3x12s and 2x12s, 7:00 AM-7:30 PM Variable days with every other weekend required No on-call responsibilities Floating required as needed Requirements Active CA RN license required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or ARC only) Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required Nursys license verification uploaded within the last 2 weeks 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year 7-year work history verification required, including documentation if needed Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a medical surgical hospital setting Local candidates accepted at local rate Must reside within a 50-mile radius for local rate eligibility Returning employees must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler Max RTO of 7 days per contract Only 1 holiday RTO request permitted per contract Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day Labs must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing Compliance documents due 10 days prior to start date American Traveler Job ID P-760914.
