Details 20-bed telemetry unit with 3 beds dedicated to progressive care population Specializes in post-op CABG, cardiac surgery, valve replacement/repair, and vascular surgery patients Also cares for CHF and moderate-risk chest pain patients with multiple co-morbidities and complex care needs Patients are transferred from ICU, ED, and PACU 3rd shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7p-7a Weekends and holidays required as needed Requirements Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required BLS certification required ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation required NIHSS certification required within 3 months of start ACLS certification required within 12 months of start No prior experience required, though cardiac experience is a plus Last 4 digits of SSN and MM/DD of DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, and care coordination for progressive care and telemetry patients Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities with patient and family-centered education Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and delegate tasks appropriately to other care team members Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures Must reside within 75 miles of the facility, with local candidates accepted at a lower rate American Traveler Job ID P-777681.
