Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Post Partum for a travel nursing job in Carmichael, California.

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Post Partum Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/08/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Post Partum Floor nursing position on the night shift in an unspecified location. The role supports acute care for postpartum patients and does not require pediatric or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience. The position requires Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Job Details Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; active nursing license required for submission.

Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred but not required.

Experience in the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) nurse role is helpful.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: Provides care in an acute care setting on a postpartum floor. Pediatric experience is not required. Neonatal Intensive Care Unit experience is not required. Travelers are expected to work two of the three major holidays.
