Details 22-bed telemetry/med-surg unit caring for complex patients including CHF, stroke, ESRD, and post-op cases Patients admitted from ICU, ED, and PACU Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

Requirements Active, unrestricted KY or compact RN license required BLS certification required ACLS, NIHSS, and Annual Dysrhythmia Competency Validation required within 6 months of start ADN or ASN required; BSN preferred No prior nursing experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills required Ability to assess age-specific patient safety needs and implement appropriate safety measures Additional Information Provide direct patient care including assessments, treatments, care coordination, and discharge planning Collaborate with an interprofessional care team to deliver patient- and family-centered care Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures such as patient satisfaction, falls prevention, and documentation audits Candidates must reside within a 75-mile radius to qualify for the standard travel rate; local candidates accepted at a lower rate First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-777750.
