Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Emergency Room position for a travel assignment supporting patients across the lifespan in a high-acuity emergency department. The role provides care for patients with conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure, with floating to other areas potentially required.

Job Details Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience with some pediatric experience; travel experience required; active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license and all other applicable Registered Nurse (RN) licenses; current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; electronic medical record experience with Epic required.

Preferred Qualifications: Charge capability experience preferred.

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 p.m.7:00 a.m., 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Assignment Period: 11/23/202602/20/2027.

Float: Float rotation may be required.

Additional Information: The position supports newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Emergency department responsibilities include caring for all assigned patients, including SANE cases. Commonly used specialty equipment includes a rapid infusor and Arctic Sun. Navy blue scrubs are required.
