Details Labor & Delivery unit with 16 beds and approximately 120 staff Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM Patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2 Uses Baxter pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring equipment Charts in Cerner and Fetal Ink EMR systems Performs vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures Floating required to MFMU, MOMB, or NICU Weekends and on-call not required but available upon approval Requirements Active RN license (NC or compact) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required High-risk obstetric experience required Immediate newborn care experience required Current certifications: NRP (Advanced 9th Edition), BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN or NCCEFM) Circulating experience preferred US SSN and date of birth required for consideration No gaps in work history of 90 days within the past 12 months Additional Information Scrubs provided per unit dress code Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality preferred for unit fit Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted 16-week assignment American Traveler Job ID P-726896.
