We are currently seeking a dedicated RN with a passion for mental health to provide exceptional care in our inpatient psychiatric setting. This is a contract position with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. As a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse / RN, you will: Provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicate changes in patients' clinical conditions with Physicians, Nursing Supervisors/Managers, and co-workers as appropriate. Participate in the discharge planning process.

Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Nursing Diploma program. Current state licensure as Registered Nurse / RN in Massachusetts. BCLS Certification; ACLS preferred. Minimum one year of experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting.

Must Have Skills/Experience: Previous Behavioral Health experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting. Willingness to work with both adult and pediatric care populations.

Common Diagnoses/Treatments include: Schizophrenia Depression Bipolar disorder Substance use disorder Anxiety Additional Information: Orientation is biweekly, on Mondays or Tuesdays (FDI's upon clearance). Local Rate: $75; Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered for travel.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 40 Weekend Hours: Every Other/As Needed.
