Details Medical ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio Rotating day and night shifts, 3x12 hours (0645-1915 and 1845-0715) Rotating shift cadence may vary, with several weeks on one shift before switching Every other weekend coverage required Float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed Cerner charting system preferred Requirements Active RN license (PA or Compact) required Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA certifications only accepted)

Experience with Medical ICU, Tele, ECMO, and CRRT required Skills required include IV therapy, central/arterial/PICC line management, blood product administration, and ventilator management Experience with ECMO, CRRT, EVD, ICP monitoring, and hypothermia protocols Cardiac drip titration and continuous IV sedation/paralytic management experience DL, SSN, and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to medically complex ICU patients including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, and renal cases Navy blue scrub color required Must be willing to float within the hospital as needed Candidates must be available to work every other holiday First-time travelers are welcome to apply Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 2 years before returning through an agency Travelers who complete a cumulative year within the health system must wait two years before returning Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address Local candidates are not accepted Two supervisor references preferred Fingerprinting, drug screen, and required labs must be completed within 24-48 hours of signing American Traveler Job ID P-781131.
