Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel RN - Med Surg | Morgantown, WV | Contract Quick Look Weekly Gross Pay: $2,033 - $2,140 Shift: Nights Start Date: 10/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Join a leading acute-care hospital in Morgantown, WV, as a Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN). We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract position with night shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care to patients in the Medical-Surgical unit, specifically focusing on Neurosciences, DBS (Deep Brain Stimulators), Stroke, Seizures, Surgical/PostOp Spines, and Neurological Disorders. Maintain patient ratios of 1:5-6 for floor patients, ensuring high-quality care and attention. Collaborate with healthcare teams and support physicians in patient care protocols, including titration of drips as per physician's orders. Document patient care activities in EPIC and verify monitor tech’s strip reading. Participate in unit-specific orientation and adhere to dress code policies.

Required Certifications: BLS and NIHSS are required; ACLS is preferred. NIHSS certification must be in hand at the time of submission.

Experience and Skills: Strong Neuro experience is essential, with proficiency in handling G-tubes. Recent experience with EPIC is required. Charge Nurse/House Supervisor available 24/7 for support.

Experience with titratable drips such as Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, and others is beneficial. Weekend and holiday work is expected, with flexibility in scheduling. The unit has a supportive team with nurse aids available per shift to assist with patient care.
