Travel Nurse Job Details Location: Needham, Massachusetts Specialty: Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nursing Setting: Inpatient hospital patient care unit Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,750–$2,890 Start Date: November 16, 2026 Assignment End Date: February 13, 2027 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 8-hour evening shifts, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.

Average Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, excluding on-call hours Weekend and Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and applicable holidays Work Arrangement: On-site travel nursing assignment Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Requirements At least 2 years of recent medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license, or ability to apply for a temporary or permanent Massachusetts license at submission Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification Recent experience using the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system Ability to work evening shifts, every other weekend, and required holidays Travelers must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the assignment location Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients requiring cardiac telemetry monitoring Perform patient assessments, identify changes in condition, and promptly communicate clinical concerns Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs while recognizing and escalating potential complications Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established orders and protocols Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Collaborate with providers, nursing colleagues, patients, and families to coordinate effective patient care Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in EPIC Support safe admissions, transfers, discharges, and patient education Needham offers a welcoming New England community with convenient access to Boston, beautiful parks, and a vibrant local culture.
