Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro Medicine Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with a specialty in Neuro Medicine to provide excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess solid clinical skills, a passion for neuro nursing, and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a Neuro Unit. Monitor and assess patient conditions and implement appropriate interventions. Effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare team members using SBAR methodology. Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders. Participate in patient and family education regarding care plans and health management. Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic documentation using EPIC. Assist in emergency situations, including disaster response and storm team assignments, as required.

Qualifications Current BLS and ACLS certifications required. NIHSS certification is preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in neuro nursing or a similar setting is required.

Experience as a first-time traveler is accepted. Ability to float to other units as needed and work during weekends and holidays. Must pass EKG testing prior to starting in the specialty.

Shift Information Night Shift: 12-hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15. 36 or 48 hours per week accepted. Longer contract lengths between 13 to 26 weeks are available. Every other weekend required. No more than 7 days of RTO (Request Time Off) permitted. Unit Orientation New hires will receive 24 hours of unit orientation to ensure familiarity with procedures and protocols.
