Details Work in a combined adult/pediatric Emergency Department at a Level II Trauma Center Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 1900-0730, including weekends and holidays Floating required as needed Must reside within 50 miles of the facility; local candidates not accepted Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active WI RN license or Compact RN license required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), and TNCC Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last 3 years Epic charting system experience required Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to starting the assignment At least one prior travel assignment of six months or more required; extensions highly preferred Level II Trauma Center experience required; Level I Trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred Additional Information Provide emergency care across a wide range of conditions including pediatrics, psychiatric emergencies, trauma, cardiac, neurological, and respiratory cases Perform skills such as IV therapy, phlebotomy, arterial line management, central line care, and blood product administration Manage ventilated and intubated patients, interpret ABGs, and monitor cardiac dysrhythmias Experience with triage, isolation precautions/PPE, and orthopedic splinting Telemetry exam requires passing with no incorrect answers on 3rd degree heart block questions and 100% identification of lethal rhythms, with up to two attempts allowed Free onsite parking available Facility is a newly built, advanced hospital focused on holistic patient care and wellness American Traveler Job ID P-774790.
