Details Work in the ED caring for Telemetry Overflow patients Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 07:00-19:30 Floating required Weekend coverage required Requirements Active CA RN license in hand (EMSA not accepted)

Current certifications in hand: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute in hand (MAB or online CPI Blue not accepted) Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience required Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry/specialty area within the past 2 years Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in work history Two supervisor references required Skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV therapy/phlebotomy, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drip management (no titration), and non-invasive airway management Additional Information Provide care for telemetry overflow patients within the emergency department setting Participate in rapid response/code team activations as needed Follow isolation precautions and proper PPE protocols Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year to be eligible Prior travel experience is generally required; first-time travelers may be considered per specific position exceptions No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days of RTO preferred per 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-780527.
