Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the registered nurse contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care for patients in labor and delivery.

Shift Information Shift: 12-hour shifts Schedule: 36 or 48 hours per week Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend On Call Requirement: No call Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to patients during labor and delivery. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) effectively, specifically with EPIC systems. Holiday Requirements Travelers will be required to work 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year's Day). Requests for days off will be limited to one day between specified holiday periods.

Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery (L&D) nursing experience required. High-risk and high acuity experience required.

Experience with circulating in a Labor and Delivery setting required.

Experience within the last year at high-volume delivery centers (200-300 deliveries per month) required. Multiple completed travel contracts preferred. EPIC STORK experience preferred. Licensure and Certifications Active Iowa nursing license required.

Current certifications must include: BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or ARC ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - AHA or ARC AWHONN certification for fetal monitoring NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Valid driver's license required.
