Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our team. This position requires a combination of clinical expertise, commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. Monitor maternal and fetal health per established protocols. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Assist with various types of deliveries, including vaginal and C-sections. Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals. Educate and support patients and families about the labor process and postpartum care.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical records (EMR). Ensure compliance with safety and healthcare regulations. Float between multiple maternity units as required.

Schedule and Requirements Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Full-time: 36 hours/week Rotating holiday coverage: required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).

Weekends: Every third weekend required.

Qualifications Experience in Labor & Delivery nursing is required. Recent experience with high-risk obstetrics in a level II trauma facility is required; level I trauma facility experience is preferred. Knowledge of antepartum care and C-section/vaginal delivery processes is required.

Must have completed at least one travel assignment in the last 12 months. Intermediate or Advanced EFM/AWHONN certification is required.

Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is required. Licensure and Certification Requirements Active Iowa/IA nursing license or compact/multistate license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. AWHONN or I-EFM certification is required.
