Details Work in a Recovery unit with 19 beds in the Main PACU and 4 beds in the Atrium PACU Staffed by RNs, a Clinical Coordinator, and Department Assistants Day shift waterfall schedule starting at 8:00a, 9:00a, 11:00a and 12:00p, with 9, 10, and 12 hour shift options Night shift on-call coverage after 9:30p Patient ratios of 2:1, with 1:1 for unstable ICU and pediatric patients Uses ventilators, Phillips and GE monitors, and Sigma Spectrum pumps Documents in Meditech No floating required Requirements Active VA or compact RN license Current ACLS and PALS certification PACU or ICU experience required Strong neuro background required Ventilator competency required Experience with drip titration and neurosurgery preferred Skilled in PCA pump setup, drip titration, and arterial line blood draws No work history gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide recovery care to post-anesthesia patients including unstable ICU and pediatric cases Navy scrub attire required Must have good organizational skills, be a reliable team player, and able to multitask Must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-760175.
