Details Hospital-based position on the 5M cardiac Med/Surg unit Night shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts per week 13-week assignment Cerner EMR used Requirements Active RN license (SC or Compact) required BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only) NIHSS certification required CPI certification required (Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training course) Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience required Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a US hospital setting required Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired Cerner experience required Additional Information Perform patient assessments, including initial and ongoing evaluations with appropriate documentation Deliver age-appropriate care based on knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan Determine nursing needs and treatment plans for assigned patients Complete admission assessments within established policy timeframes Must reside 100 miles from the facility to be eligible (no local candidates) Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the previous 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer American Traveler Job ID P-741430.
