Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/23/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Telemetry Unit, specializing in cardiac care. This position requires a commitment to quality patient care and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule Details Contract Length: 13 Weeks Shifts: 12-hour nights, 1900 - 0730 Work Schedule: 3 shifts per week Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend Holiday Requirement: Must work one holiday from each holiday group (Christmas Eve or Day | New Year’s Eve or Day) Orientation and Training The selected candidate will attend a structured orientation program, including: First two days of orientation will be at the KUKC Campus. Day three will involve orientation at a different location and Director of Nursing training. Day four will continue with Director of Nursing training. Day five will include virtual training on the electronic health record system. Following the first week, unit orientation will be conducted on day shifts.

Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit. Monitor and manage patients on cardiac drips and telemetry. Float to other acute care units as needed.

Qualifications Minimum of 1 year recent experience in telemetry nursing with a focus on cardiac care.

Experience with TR Band management post-procedure is required. Familiarity with various cardiac drips, including Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, and Cardizem. Understanding of Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation processes is essential.

Preferred experience: 2-5 years in telemetry nursing. New graduates will not be considered for this position. Licensing and Certifications Active RN license in the state of Kansas. Current BLS certification.
