Every other weekend and every other holiday required. Nursing ratio of 5-6:1 on nights.

Highlights: Work in a 25-bed medical-surgical unit with a mix of private and semi-private rooms Care for a diverse patient population including stroke patients, post-operative cases, and complex medical conditions Gain experience with heparin drips, wound care, CIWA protocols, dialysis patients, and COPD exacerbations Manage post-operative patients with amputations, drains, chest tubes, and feeding tubes Primary patient population includes stroke patients not requiring TPA, comfort care, and hospice patients 91-day travel assignment with competitive compensation Requirements: Current Illinois Registered Nurse license Current CPR/BLS certification ACLS certification required NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required Stroke certification preferred Medical-surgical nursing experience with adult patient populations Why Join Us?
