Details Emergency Department Holding unit within a hospital setting Treats pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 36 hours per week 13-week assignment length 1:3 patient ratio Epic charting system experience preferred Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS Minimum 2 years of ER experience required, including ER Holding or MS/Tele experience MS/Tele, Tele, or PCU/Stepdown experience also acceptable Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a Manager/Director or Supervisor and the second from a Charge RN or higher; no coworker references accepted Additional Information Provide emergency and holding area nursing care across a broad patient population Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and rapid response/code teams preferred Skills in IV therapy, central/peripheral line management, and respiratory care such as BiPAP/CPAP and tracheostomy management preferred First-time travelers are welcome to apply Locals accepted at the same pay rate Former employees eligible to return as travelers only after 6 months away from the facility Current employees are not eligible for travel assignments at this facility RTO must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less Candidates must complete Ohio BCI & FBI fingerprinting promptly after accepting an offer, including lifetime background checks American Traveler Job ID P-768533.
