Details Work in the ICU/Tele unit of an acute care hospital Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00-7:30) Weekend shifts required Floating required within scope to any ICU/TELE units based on facility need No on-call responsibilities Uses Cerner charting system Requirements Active CA RN license required Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required; candidates with strong experience and less tenure may be considered Previous travel nursing experience preferred; strong candidates without travel experience may be considered Preferred experience with Trauma Level I settings Preferred charge nurse experience Skills in care of ventilated patients, continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and IV therapy required ICP monitoring experience preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing in a Magnet-designated, teaching, Level II Trauma Center Strict dress code: no facial hair, acrylic nails, unnatural hair colors, visible piercings other than earlobe-only earrings, and all tattoos must be covered No specific scrub color required, but camouflage or character patterns are not allowed Up to 5 days of requested time off permitted, with 1 holiday approved off First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted at standard bill rate Previous staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Free parking available on-site American Traveler Job ID P-779679.
