Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/20/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) We are seeking experienced Stepdown Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced, critical environment. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting patients through their recovery process in a step-down unit.

Shift Information Rotating shifts: 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm Variable shifts may occur as needed to meet operational requirements Must work every other holiday Key Responsibilities Deliver patient-centered care in a step-down unit Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes as necessary Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols Educate patients and their families on health management and recovery Qualifications Minimum of 12 months of permanent experience in stepdown nursing Must hold a valid Ohio nursing license or a Compact State license Certification in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required Orientation and Assessment During orientation, travelers will complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and a safeMedicate assessment.
