Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 12/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Telemetry | Night Shift Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: December 1, 2026 Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts Job Description Seeking experienced Travel Telemetry Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide care for adult patients with cardiac, neurological, and other acute medical conditions. Candidates must have recent telemetry experience and a background in a Level I Trauma facility.

Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients with cardiac and acute medical conditions. Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias. Monitor oxygen therapy and provide non-invasive airway management.

Administer medications, manage cardiac drips, and provide IV therapy. Manage central and peripheral lines and administer blood products. Monitor patients with stroke, post-MI, and pre-/post-cardiac catheterization conditions.

Follow infection prevention and isolation protocols. Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the healthcare team. Float to other telemetry units as needed.

Requirements Active Florida or Compact RN license in hand . Minimum 3 years of recent telemetry experience. Level I Trauma experience required.

Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. NIHSS certification required. Epic experience required.

Nursing degree from an accredited institution; Operation Nightingale school graduates are not accepted. Recent acute-care experience must meet facility requirements, including consecutive experience within the past 24 months in a U.S. hospital.

Schedule & Additional Requirements Every other weekend. Holidays as needed; holiday scheduling requirements apply. No block scheduling requests.

Must be willing to float to other telemetry floors. Interview availability must be included with the candidate submission. Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening and fingerprinting required.

Compliance lab appointment must be completed within 72 hours of signing. Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at a lower rate. Flu vaccination required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations are allowed.

Eight hours of RN onboarding modules are non-billable and must be completed before the start date.

Important: Candidates must have recent telemetry experience, Level I Trauma experience, Epic proficiency, and all required certifications and an active Florida/Compact license before submission.
