Details Long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 35 guaranteed weekly hours No weekend or on-call requirements Requirements Active OT license required (if applicable) 1 years of OT experience required LTC, SNF, or rehab setting experience required New grads considered if they completed Level II fieldwork experience Resume required for consideration Skills checklist completed within the past year required 1 reference required at time of consideration Additional Information Screen and evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders and develop appropriate plans of care Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, and modalities Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers Communicate with supervisors and healthcare team regarding patient progress and treatment plans Document all required clinical and regulatory information in the electronic documentation system Participate in patient care conferences, utilization review meetings, and other required facility meetings Supervise occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, and/or students as needed Adhere to NBCOT and state practice acts and code of conduct Up to 5 days of RTO can be requested during the assignment American Traveler Job ID P-756862.
