Details Work in a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital (IRF) within the Rehab Nursing unit Patient population includes individuals recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 7:30 AM Every other weekend rotation required Must call in as soon as possible or at least 3 hours before shift start if unable to work Uses Epic EHR system Requirements Active RN license (WI or Compact) required High school diploma required 2 years of RN experience required Experience in rehab and med-surg settings required Experience with skilled nursing preferred Comfortable treating common diagnoses such as stroke, amputation, and med-surg conditions AHA certifications required Strong customer service skills Additional Information Provide nursing care within a CARF-accredited inpatient rehab program specializing in stroke, comprehensive integrated rehabilitation, and amputation care Deliver individualized, intensive rehabilitation services as part of a multidisciplinary care team Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible Must not be employed elsewhere on a full-time basis American Traveler Job ID P-778168.
