Location Georgetown, TX Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift Shifts are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with rotating weekend requirements. Job Description This Medical-Surgical unit features 15 beds with a patient ratio of 1:5. The typical staffing includes 3 Registered Nurses (RN) and 1 Patient Care Technician (PCT) on both day and night shifts. The unit is equipped with ALARIS pumps and uses the MEDITECH EMR documentation system. Key procedures performed in this unit include hip/knee replacements and colectomies.

Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical setting. Effectively collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Monitor patient progress and report changes as necessary. Document care provided and maintain accurate patient records. Required Experience Current BLS Certification.

NIHSS certification required. Previous experience in a Medical-Surgical unit preferred.

Certifications/Licensure Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. ACLS certification preferred. Rhythm interpretation skills preferred.
