This position involves delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on patients with cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry conditions. Unit Description 32 bed unit Patient conditions include cardiac, vascular, surgical, pulmonary, and telemetry cases Schedule 3x12 hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM Weekdays and every other weekend required 36 hours guaranteed per week Block scheduling is not available Responsibilities Provide direct patient care and support Administer medications and monitor vital signs Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes Document patient assessments and care provided in the electronic health record Float to other units within scope as needed Qualifications Must possess a valid RN license in the state of practice; candidates with a pending license may be considered Minimum of 2 years of RN experience Minimum of 1 year of in-specialty experience is preferred Certifications required: BLS/BCLS and ACLS First-time travelers are welcome to apply if experience requirements are met Additional Information COVID-19 vaccination is not required Flu vaccination is mandatory unless a medical exemption is documented Free parking available for travelers Charting performed via Cerner Hospital Overview Type: Short Term Acute Care Trauma Center Level: IV Total Staffed Beds: 838 Wellspring Nurse Source Job ID 38638487.
