Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapist Unit Information The therapy staff provides services throughout the entire facility.

Number of Beds: 28-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility (IRF) and 383 acute care beds (average census of 240)

Number of Staff: 17 Physical Therapists (PTs) on staff, including full-time and PRN personnel Patient Ratios: 4 patients per day on IRF unit; 8-12 patients per day on acute care unit Type of Equipment: Two therapy gyms, Vector, LiteGait, Activities of Daily Living (ADL)

Apartment Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Meditech Roles and Responsibilities Conduct evaluations, treatment, and discharge planning for patients Participate in team conferences and family training sessions Utilize adaptive devices and equipment for patient rehabilitation Qualifications Skill Sets Required: Must Have: Willingness to work on the IRF unit, strong critical thinking, and clinical reasoning skills Preferred: Prior experience in a hospital or IRF setting, particularly with stroke or neurological care Ideal Candidate Profile The best fit for this position will be a flexible team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. Unit Policies and Guidelines 1 weekend shift per month is required Active Physical Therapy license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are necessary Why Join Us?
