Details Work in the ICU/CVICU unit of a 171-bed community hospital and regional referral center that is a Certified Chest Pain Center and Level III Trauma facility Blended ICU specialty with adult and geriatric patient population 16-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1:2 Common diagnoses/treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR Uses Baxter pumps and Medhost EHR Night shift schedule of 7P-7A, 3x12s Weekend work required every other weekend Call requirements apply Floating required to the Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and to ED holding for admitted patients, as needed Requirements Active RN license (AZ or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/CVICU experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to adult and geriatric CVICU patients Weekly orientation provided Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full time American Traveler Job ID P-756717.
