Details Community hospital and regional referral center, Joint Commission Accredited with 171 beds Certified Chest Pain Center and Level III Trauma Center Blended ICU/CVICU unit with 16 beds Adult and geriatric patient population with 1:2 patient ratios Common diagnoses/treatments include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injury, overdose, stroke, trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR Uses Baxter pumps and Medhost EHR Night shift schedule, 3x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend required Call requirements apply Floating required to Intermediate Care Unit (as primary RN) and ED holding (for admitted patients) on an as-needed basis Requirements Active RN license (AZ or Compact) required Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (AHA certifications required) Minimum 2 years of experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration Active Nursys/licensure verification required at time of consideration Copies of required certifications must be provided Additional Information Provide critical care nursing to a blended ICU/CVICU patient population with complex cardiovascular and medical diagnoses Weekly orientation offered No block schedule requests; 48-hour schedules may be considered but are not guaranteed Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months Cannot be employed elsewhere full time Local candidates may be considered at a different rate American Traveler Job ID P-756720.
